Okay so I am currently reading the cruel prince but I keep on seeing cardans letters to jude on the Internet but I heard that we can read them in the queen of nothing but only in the Barnes and noble edition but we don't have B and N in my country so I just have the basic versions of the 3 books. Soo how am I supposed y
To Read the letters.. are they available somewhere on the Internet. I have seen a few people posting them so maybe I can just read those. But how many letters are there in total? So that I can get a better idea of how many I have read already (ignore my English it's not my first language)
Should I read it? Should I not read it? I need some help here.
On one hand, I really want to read this book. I absolutely loved all parts of The Folk of the Air trilogy, the characters were amazing and well-written, the plot was well-developed, and well, everything was just amazing. I have no doubt that Holly Black will live up to this and make The Stolen Heir an enjoyable, amazingly well-written read with wonderful characters. After I finished The Queen of Nothing, I was so hyped to find out that The Stolen Heir was going to be released, because I wanted to read more set in the world of The Folk of the Air.
However. Now, as I actually have a chance to read The Stolen Heir, I worry I'll find myself disappointed by it. The original trilogy was so incredible, I worry that I won't think The Stolen Heir lives up to it, and be extremely disappointed. In addition, I'm also worried it will "ruin" (not actually, but just not depict them as wonderfully as they were previously) certain characters, such as Jude and Cardan. I don't want to find myself disappointed by the book, or by the characters. In my opinion, it would ruin my view of the world of The Folk of the Air as this amazing series and place.
I'm really torn between these two options. On one hand, I want to read The Stolen Heir because The Folk of the Air trilogy was so amazing, and I want to read more by Holly Black. On the other hand, I'm worried The Stolen Heir will disappoint me and "ruin" my favorite characters.
What do you think I should do?

THAT THIS SONG ISNT ABOUT CARDAN-
Up to Summit ~ Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers
You must be up to something
Something to leave with nothing to earn
You say don’t worry ’bout it
Got no one to leave and no one to hurt
You’re looking for something
To talk about
inside this house
Where no one feels at home
Stay together but useless
(cause he's smarter then everyone thinks he is)
And cups build up beside the sink
till someone comes to clean them
You’ll stand and wait for someone new
And while the
The paint is chipping off the walls
and no one’s ’round to mend it
You’ll stand and wait then stand some more
(he's a prince and used to having people do stuff for him)
The fallout is bigger when you know how
To crawl right under tables
And label us as useless
While we all watch you
Fall out, it’s bigger when you know how
To crawl right under tables
And you’re being enabled
While we all watch you
("the fallout" is, yk, balekin killing everyone. And obv, there is the "crawling right under tables" bit lol. And he thinks (in the first book at least) that mortals are useless)

Do you know what name Madok has to forget in the last part of the trilogy of a cruel prince? In passing judgment on him, he says: "First of all, you will swear to forget a certain name. You will erase it from your memory and never again will your mouth say it or your fingers will write it."
Is it ever explained how cardan can tell jude and taryn apart?
Can someone tell me in which volume Cardan's letters are written?
So I'm watching Cursed atm, and oh my gosh Katherine Langford would make such a good Jude-
Some pics of her so you can see what I ish talking about-
She just really gives me Jude vibes- maybe it's the hair? anyways. yeah.
Ok we need to talk about this.
Cardan's infamous tail.
What's ur opinions bc recently Holly Black mentioned the reason why she gave Cardan a tail in an instagram post.
I'm going to be honest, I love his tail I think it really gives that unique quirk in a character. And remember, he's not human so it's obvious he has inhuman qualities.
If 'some characters' can have wings ahem ahem SJM then I think Cardan's tail should be welcomed too.
I support Cardan's tail.
Is it just me or i wish we got to see more princess Rhiya she just seems so brave and cool , and her wits and relationship with Vivi is just chefs kiss!
Has it occured to any of y'all (sorry, I'm from Texas) that Jude basically played kiss, marry, kill with Cardan's friend group?
Something I've always wondered is how in QoN Cardan recognized Jude.
I mean, in TWK he was fooled into thinking it was Jude when it was really Taryn-so wouldn't his guard be up about thinking it is Jude and it actually being Taryn? Am I missing something?
