Carl is a human and a friend of Heather from community college. He plays a supporting role in The Honest Folk.
Biography[]
Carl had a tough breakup with his last boyfriend, during which he had to be physically restrained from texting him at all hours of the night. Heather and Rose took turns keeping Carl’s phone hidden in their bras to keep him from reaching for it, a method that only worked part of the time.
The Honest Folk[]
Carl calls Heather after she misses three days of classes to check if she plans to return. Heather assures him that she will be back and mentions she’ll be there soon. Carl invites her to join him and their friends for coffee after her classes.
At the Brew-ha-ha Café, Carl joins Heather, Rose, and Mikey for a chat. He’s sipping on a mocha as the group catches up. During their conversation, Heather asks Carl if she’s ever mentioned anything about her ex-girlfriend, but neither of them can remember anything specific.
