This acorn belonged to Liriope and represents a pivotal moment in Liriope's life when she dispatched it after discovering Prince Dain Greenbriar's deadly intentions.

Description[]

Liriope’s acorn is a beautiful, golden piece of metal. It has tiny lines running across it that seem to indicate moving parts. At the bottom of the acorn, there is a hole so small as to be nearly invisible, into which a pin can be fit, opening the acorn. Inside rests a tiny golden bird, which opens its mouth and speaks, replaying Liriope's last words.

History[]

Following Liriope's poisoning with the Blusher Mushroom orchestrated by The Ghost under Prince Dain's command, Oriana managed to recover one of the acorns, albeit only moments too late. It was during this critical juncture that she extracted baby Oak, severing him from Liriope's womb and raising him as her own son, naming him after the "golden oak," synonymous with the acorn.[1]

Years later Jude Duarte found it when Liriope's son, Locke invited her to a revel in his estate.[2]
